In keeping with WORLDwrite’s documentary ‘Keeping Africa Small’ from the Pricking the Missionary Position Series, this is a short film from the extremely talented duo at Bold Futures. The film was originally produced for a public debate arranged by the excellent German magazine NovoArgumente as world population hit 7 billion. It lampoons ideas which suggest the material comforts we rely on in the West are not appropriate or possible for Africans. Maltreating Africans in the interest of a higher, Western ideal, the film satirically describes a future vision for Africa. WORLDbytes is delighted to host this provocative short.
