Filmed and produced by Silvio Ugarelli Lima and Karl Gentles, this short film tells the story of Ceri Dingle, the Director of WORLDwrite and its Citizen TV School WORLDbytes. She was an art student who gave it all up for politics, because in her words, “real life needed changing and art wasn’t going to do it”. Ceri is a principled woman who is serious about politics, education, ideas and film. She has spent her whole life involving and training young people through exchanges, programme and film making projects that challenge mainstream ideas. In this film, she talks about some of the many documentaries she has worked on and her uncompromising commitment to global development, equality, freedom of speech and challenging anti-human ideas.
