There is little consensus as to what the young should learn from the old, reflected in debates about the school curriculum. Some even argue that rather than lecturing them, teachers need to do more listening to pupils. Are there ideas, insights and pieces of knowledge that the older generation has a responsibility to pass on, or should we trust kids to Google all the answers?
