40% of London’s late night venues have closed in the last 10 years. But while gentrification is usually blamed, we learn that local councils are placing undue pressure on bars and clubs through stringent regulation. Should clubs be blamed for everything that could go possibly wrong? Should we really have to show our passports to buy a beer? Or should we stand up for our freedom day and night?
