We no longer live in a society that sees sex outside marriage as taboo, and yet today’s generation seems more preoccupied with sexual etiquette than their parents. Dating apps have redefined sex in contractual terms and consent classes are being taught in universities and schools plus many argue we need teach young people how to have good relationships, as well as the basics. Does this new concern with consent and sexual etiquette pose a threat to genuine intimacy? Is it going to change the way we have sex?
