Diversity: Does it matter?

Today diversity is widely celebrated and promoted by politicians, major employers and the media. But when challenging diversity can get you the sack, as in the case of Google employee James Damore, has it become an illiberal orthodoxy? Filmed at the Battle of Ideas 2017, the speakers are Amali De Alwis, Josie Appleton, Dreda Say Mitchell, Cathy Young. The chair is Claire Fox.
