London Behind the Scenes Opportunities: Reporters and Investigators

Opportunity Details

The charity WORLDwrite needs volunteers aged 16 to 25 with ambition to work on a special project entitled London Behind the Scenes, which involves creating a filmed "alternative London guide" on DVD in the run up to the Olympics. Reporters will develop and present pieces to camera for this project for the filmed guide. No previous reporting experience required, but a reasonable level of spoken English and a keen interest in London's history and politics is a must, as is a willingness to speak to camera and follow and develop scripts. A willingness to take on all aspects of reporting from various London locations, from researching subjects to developing background knowledge of an issue, is also desirable. Volunteers' time input is flexible for this project. Travel expenses for shoots will be paid. An uncompromising commitment to supporting people coming to the UK from all over the world is essential.
