London Behind the Scenes Opportunities: Film Uploader

Opportunity Details

The charity WORLDwrite needs dedicated volunteers that can spend time getting our short films uploaded onto all of the major video sharing sites on the internet, for a project entitled London Behind the Scenes. The project involves creating short documentaries investigating London's hidden treasures and dark secrets, for online broadcast in the run up to the Olympics and ultimately a 'Hidden London' alternative guide on DVD. This is a role for volunteers who want to get involved with online marketing and distribution of the films. This role can include researching the vast number of video upload sites, finding new sites and uploading the films themselves and keeping a detailed, accurate, up-to-date list of which films have been uploaded onto which sites. Volunteers will be guided through the whole uploading process. It's a great role for a volunteer who might want to work from home sometimes, with good IT literacy and determination. If it's too much to take on, smaller tasks are always possible. Input in terms of time is entirely flexible for this role, as is location.
