General Project Opportunities: Marketing and Public Relations Coordinators

Opportunity Details

Volunteers are needed to help promote and market events and news programmes. Marketing and PR is a vital role for volunteers who want to raise the public profile of important questions. This is a "people person" role and will involve picking up the phone, working to develop media contacts, researching promotional details, drafting press releases, coordinating publicity, commenting and advertising on websites and more. Working with other volunteers to get programmes that challenge the status quo viewed by the wider world, the opportunity exists for volunteers to take on all aspects of this demanding role or to take on smaller tasks such as developing databases, commenting online and researching social networking sites.

Qualifications Required

None but basic IT and literacy skills are essential.
