This post involves working with WORLDwrite, a youth education charity which runs cutting-edge programmes which promote global equality and development. The charity has a centre in east London complete with film facility run by volunteers. The charity develops all sorts of programmes and activities including film to get its message across that only the best will do for all. WORLDwrite needs a Centre Manager to work across programmes and maintain its facilities. This is a role for a problem spotter and problem solver, bringing issues to light, from computer problems to leaking loos and devising low budget fixes. Ordering materials, keeping up with inquiries, looking after volunteers and ensuring building maintenance and cleanliness plus health and safety are a key part of this role. This is not a role for the fainthearted but could provide a satisfying experience for anyone interested in management positions. Time input is entirely flexible.
