Centre Opportunities: Fundraiser

Opportunity Details

Working with the charity WORLDwrite, volunteers are needed to join a team committed to keeping WORLDwrite's volunteer centre afloat. WORLDwrite is looking for a Volunteer Centre Fundraiser who can imaginatively pull the funding to ensure the centre can meet the needs and do justice to its volunteer inspired projects. The fundraiser will do justice to all the volunteer input by sourcing possible funding, chatting up possible sponsors, planning appeals and asking for the cash. Volunteers may also choose to help run and develop a "friends" scheme, asking people sympathetic to the charity's work to donate a small amount on a monthly basis. Volunteers can take on the whole job or smaller aspects. Time is flexible for this project and much can be done from home or college if preferred. No experience is required but a professional manner, good communication skills, being a people person and having an upfront attitude will pay dividends. This project welcomes newcomers to the UK to help advance a truly global perspective.

Qualifications Required

None, but a commitment to global equality is a must!
