Get Involved: Tour News Producers
Opportunity Details
Tour news producers can take on large or small aspects of producing news items from this project for a fledgling news channel. No previous news production experience required but a reasonable understanding of English and an interest in the news and politics is a must. A willingness to take on all aspects of production, from researching subjects to developing background knowledge of an issue to letter writing is a must. The news producer will keep up-to-date with all aspects of tour development and consider what is newsworthy. The tours will eventually feature on foot, online and on film. Volunteers' time input is flexible. An uncompromising commitment to supporting people coming to the UK from all over the world is essential.
