In 2004 Bob Geldof visited Ghana while shooting his Africa series. He wrote about his visit in his book, Geldof in Africa, and described his crowning as Chief of Development in a town called Bisease. The Council of Chiefs had high hopes that Bob would make things happen, but his ‘stool’ remains empty. Their disappointment is palpable. Geldof stayed in the chief's house, accepted their crown and discussed their needs, but the town is still waiting to hear from him.
