WORLDwrite are hosting their visit which will involve considerable discussion on development issues and give young Brazilians a chance to have their say for a change. Sunday July 4

School student group arrive from Brazil. Welcome reception Meet volunteers and host families and settle in to accommodation.

Monday July 5

9.00am meet at the WORLDwrite Centre for a slide show

Introduction to life in Britain and the capital, London. Discussion on the itinerary and advice on getting around. Short canal side walk for lunch at a local inn 3pm Open top bus or tube and walking tour of London 6.30pm Cinema or theatre visit Stay with host families

Tues July 6

9.00am meet at the WORLDwrite Centre Coffee/tea and 1/2hour English Lesson

Today we will look at attitudes to development in Britain Film presentation followed by question and answer session. Buffet lunch at the WORLDwrite Centre PM Visits to the Science Museum or British Museum or Imperial War Museum Evening visit to a typical English pub Stay with host families

9.00am meet at the WORLDwrite Centre Coffee/tea and 1/2 hour English Lesson Today we will look at cultural issues AM Visit to the Tate Gallery or National Portrait Gallery or The Hayward Gallery Picnic Lunch or reception in Central London Afternoon Visit to the Commission for Racial Equality or TUC Equal Opportunities Unit Visit to Cyberia Internet café & Benefit night Stay with host families

Thurs July 8

9.00am meet at the WORLDwrite Centre Coffee/tea and 1/2 hour English Lesson Today we will begin to look at Environmental issues in Britain Morning Visit to Environmental services We hope to meet the Mayor of Hackney and Local Council during or after lunch. Afternoon visit to an alternative technology centre Tea at the WORLDwrite Centre 7.30pm Public Debate & Workshop on Culture difference and racial Equality Stay with host families

Free day Optional Afternoon visit to look at Oxford Street and Harrods (Donıt expect to buy anything- it is incredibly expensive) Evening Welcome Barbecue & party arranged by volunteers in Kent

Visit to Brighton a famous English sea side town Night out in Brighton Stay with student group families in Brighton or camping

Sun July 11

Day with student group families in Brighton Evening return to London to stay with host families

Mon July 12

9.00am meet at the WORLDwrite Centre Coffee/tea and 1/2 hour English Lesson Visit to the BBC a Radio station or BFC Visit to Shell international Visit to the United Nations Information Association Stay with host families

Tues July 13

Today we will spend a whole day in a British Secondary School Evening Reception at the Brazilian Embassy

Weds July 14

Early start as today we will travel to Birmingham Visit to the BT centre Lunch with the Mayor of Birmingham Visit to Cadburyıs chocolate Factory or car plant Visit and surf the net at the Angle Gallery with Cyber Angle Eat out in Birmingham at a famous Balti Return to London

Free Day Evening Big Birthday Party & Barbecue at the WORLDwrite Centre for older Volunteer Tickets are £15 Free for Brazilians only
